Even if you fall on your face, you’re still moving forward.
Painful words but very true. Most of the time when you feel like you just keep getting up and falling all over again is just when you are about to be able to make a breakthrough! It took Thomas Edison over 10,000 failed attempts before he came up with a lightbulb that worked! Keep this in mind as you browse through work at home opportunities. There is a lot of junk out there and then there are some real offers for you to be able to make some money! You just have to keep trying until you find the right fit for you!
Here is a recap of the postings this past week (just in case you missed one or two):
In my “former life” (before mommyhood) I worked in an office as a Paralegal and Administrator. I LOVED getting that weekly paycheck and being out in the world with adults. The issue is that once you are home in your jammies, putting on pantyhose and heels and a full face of makeup and worrying about my hair style (or lack thereof) just doesn’t seem like it’s worth all the effort. The missing paycheck is a little more difficult to compensate for.
Enter VOT (Virtual Office Temps): a cool website that offers a free service for people actively seeking virtual office work. They even send out free bi-weekly job updates. What I really like about the website is that they have a ” ZERO TOLERANCE for spammers and scammers.” That certainly makes it easier for people looking for legitimate work!
Everyone has a talents, hobbies and interests. You can tell when you are really into something when you lose all track of time while pursuing these interests. When it almost borders on an obsession, then you start to think, “I wish someone would pay me to do this!” Guess what? You probably CAN get paid to do that!

Over the past decade, freelance work has made huge leaps in the job market offering opportunities that were never even possible before the world wide web existed. Today, information is abundantly available and travels at the speed of light (or at least LED) and is accessible with the click of our fingertips on a mouse.
With all of these advancements, it is no wonder that freelancing is so popular with employees and employers alike. Both sides of the work equation stand to reap benefits from this type of arrangement.
Over at FreelanceJobOpenings.com they provide a place for employers and freelancers to meet. This site only accepts ads that include a salary and payment terms that are stated up front so that this provides more security for the freelancer. Most of the jobs are related to the writing field in one way or another, but then there are the random odd jobs as well.
Actually we all have plasma. The thing is, it’s worth money! If you are not too afraid of needles and have some time to spare, selling plasma might be a way for you to get a few bucks!
Most plasma donation centers will let you donate two times every seven days and it can pay $25-35 per donation. Usually the first visit takes a few hours but after that the visits are much shorter since you are then an established donor.
If you might be interested in donating your plasma, you can check out these two websites to get more detailed information and also to see if there is a plasma donation center near you:
With everything being so expensive these days, it’s no wonder that everyone is trying to save a few dollars here and there. The best things to save money on are those that you have to pay for over and over and over. Recurring expenses for items that you need and use everyday would fall into that category; things such as power, phone, cable and wi-fi.
RentMyHotSpot is a relatively new site that offers wi-fi for “rent” from “landlords”. The “landlords” are not allowed to charge more than $9.95 per month to a renter. The process seems relatively straightforward and simple. Payments are handled via Paypal to make it all a little easier.
I know, I know….. the Ebay thing has been written about in a million places and you are probably tired of reading about it and think you have heard it all. Well, here is an Ebay plan that I came up with a while ago that deserves some blog space, so bear with me.
Here’s the basic idea:
Make sure you have an Ebay account and a Paypal account (both are FREE to open)
Take $2 (yes, two dollars) to your local Salvation Army, Goodwill, thrift store, consignment store, where ever you think you might be able to score a great deal on something
Buy an item with that $2 that you KNOW will sell for at least $5 or more that will not cost a lot to ship (a good example of this is a Big Bang TV show tee shirt that said “Bazinga!” that I got for $1.49 and would have easily sold on Ebay for over $15 because it was new without tags)
Sell the item, ship it out, make a profit and do it all again using your profits from the first sale to buy your next item
This plan is easy to do and very basic in style but it does work! Obviously, you can move up the line to larger more expensive items or multiple smaller items, whatever works for you! When you are starting out, try to deal only in items that you know something about so that you make a profit every time you sell something. Subscribe in a reader

I hate to break the news to you but in 2006 there was over $3 BILLION dollars spent on internet porn. Now, before you go getting your panties into a bunch, I am NOT suggesting that you bare it all for the world to see. There are all kinds of fetishes and videos for those categories are sold on the website Clips4Sale. The website has been around for a long time and is “the #1 downloadable video clip site on the web!”.
Oddly enough, what is a fetish to one person is simply an everyday irritation for another. I hardly find sneezing to be erotic but apparently others out there disagree and find it quite stimulating. Farting, eating, driving fast cars…… all fetishes as well. Apparently there really is something for everyone!
