So far, on this quest to post information on legitimate work from home jobs, I have profiled 57 companies that offer the opportunity to make money. All this time I was working off of my own list of information that I had gathered over the past year or so. Random bits and pieces that lead to work at home opportunities.
Now, I realize that someone has done a really great job of centralizing all of this information. While I enjoy giving my readers the information that they are looking and that can be of great benefit to them, I also know that there is no need to “re-invent the wheel”. I would rather give you the information that you want quickly, and move on to other topics rather than drag it out for a year as I originally planned to do. This will also enable me to go back to my typical, more random and thoughtful musings and posts
With that in mind, I am going to discontinue my daily legitimate work from home job postings, and instead refer you to the all-encompassing website: Rat Race Rebellion.
Rat Race Rebellion offers it’s readers “Free Legitimate Work From Home Job Opportunities.” They have all the companies categorized so that they are easy to sort through and find companies that you would like to work for and that fit your skill set.
I can tell you from previous experience that focus groups are pretty fun to participate in! Not only do they ask for your opinion on products and services, sometimes you get new products to try out before they are available to the public, meals are often provided and usually they give you money as compensation for your time as well!
There is a website called Delve that is looking for “Respondents” to sign up for their database for focus group studies. It is FREE to sign up so that they can contact you when future focus groups open up that you might be a good fit for! According to their website, “Typical incentives range from $50 to $200.” To me that is definitely worth signing up for! Check out Delve by clicking HERE! Subscribe in a reader
A few weeks ago I profiled a website called Hundoville, where you can work from home selling your services or products for $100 each. Let’s say that maybe you have a skill or item to sell but it’s not quite worth $100. Maybe it is worth $50. Well let me introduce you to FittyTown.
FittyTown.com is “The Marketplace for $40 and $50 Jobs.” Here you can find someone willing to design a tee shirt for you or even some comic book characters! How cool is that?!?!?!?!? There is truly something for everyone at FittyTown. Even if you think you have nothing to offer, click over to FittyTown HERE and look around. Maybe you will see something that sparks an idea of something you can offer to make a few FittyTown deals of your own! Subscribe in a reader
If you are reading this blog post, chances are good that you know firsthand how companies are “downsizing” and how reluctant they are to hire full-time or even part -time staff and employees. This makes it a really good time to be a freelance worker!
When you are a freelance worker, you work as projects come up. It is not a set schedule or a guarantee of hours. Sometimes the work will be plentiful and other times non-existent. There are new websites that have popped up that now make it easier than ever to get freelance assignments.
TaskArmy is a website that allows freelancers to list their services on their website for more visability and thereby getting a better chance at actually doing some work and getting paid for it! It is free to join TaskArmy and then you will be able to list the services you are willing to perform. You just go to the TaskArmy website by clicking hereand in the upper right corner, in the blue box, you will see where it says “Freelancer, list your services here”. That is where you sign up and create your account and start using the website. I would think that the more services you offer, the better chance you have of getting work and repeat business! It doesn’t matter if you are a professional writer or just starting out, there are paid writing opportunities out there for everyone these days! If you are good at telling people “how-to” do things, then maybe you should be cashing in on your talents!
Firehow is one of the newer paid writing sites out there. Basically, it is a collection of how-to articles written by people just like yourself. Signing up is free!
With the summer coming, now is the perfect time to start planning ways to make some extra income to spend on summertime fun! One of the best ways to do this is to rent out extra space you have in your home. It may be a room, a couch, or even a whole house that you have available for rent, but there may be someone looking to rent just the space you have to offer!
AirBnB allows you to list your place to stay for rent. They do not charge an upfront fee, but they do get a 3% host fee when you get a reservation and make money! If you live in a prime travel destination, this would be GREAT for extra summer income!
“Sometimes the slightest things change the directions of our lives, the merest breath of a circumstance, a random moment that connects like a meteorite striking the earth. Lives have swiveled and changed direction on the strength of a chance remark.”
― Bryce Courtenay

I want to let my readers know that every company I have profiled so far in the Legitimate Work From Home Jobs series has been FREE to access. The company I am profiling today works a little differently but they have been around for YEARS and definitely offer a legitimate opportunity.
Alpine Access (Sykes Home) is a company that hires people to work from the comfort of their homes taking “customer service” calls. What makes this company unique is that they hire their at-home workers as EMPLOYEES not Independent Contractors. This makes a huge difference with regards to taxes and benefits. They offer their employees health insurance and 401K access (after a certain time frame).
The reason I say that this is not a totally free job opportunity is this: once you meet their requirements and submit your application and they give you a job offer, you will need to pay a $45 fee for a background check. Once you pass the background check, you will also need to purchase two types of headsets for training and for working (in addition to the other items they require you to have to work at home).
